Cynthia Conrad Bio
As co-founder of the band, Cynthia is undoubtedly the author of the Blood Ruby experience. Her vocals, stunning in their clarity and conviction, leave an indelible mark on the psyche. Displaying remarkable range and technique, she lifts the music beyond its terrestrial boundaries.
No less impressive are her haunting and memorable lyrics--landscapes full of emotion, strange places, and complex characters. In addition, she sometimes composes the foundation chords and melodies for the band's songs, which are then "Rubified" through the alchemy of the other band members. Examples of this process include Remains of the Day, He's Lost, "Where the Rain Goes," and "Light & Shadow."
